50 Cent is suing fast food chain, Taco Bell, for $4 million. The rapper claims the chain used his name in an advertising campaign without his permission.

In a lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court on Wednesday, the rapper–real name Curtis Jackson–accused the chain of “diluting the value of his good name”" by using it in conjunction with its 79-89-99 Cent Why Pay More? campaign, thereby fooling customers into thinking he had endorsed the franchise.

Taco Bell published an open letter to the rapper offering a $10,000 donation to the charity of his choice in exchange for his permission. They bargained he would have to stop by one of the chains restaurants and rap his order at the drive-thru-window using the name: 70 Cent, 89 Cent or 99 Cent.

However 50 Cents lawyer, Peter D Raymond, said he knew nothing until he saw the news report about the advert.
