Jessica Simpson Makes Grand Ole Opry Debut (Video)
Jessica Simpson made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry Saturday night. Her choice of wardrobe, a short and sparkly black frock with a plunging neckline, had camera operators on high alert for a wardrobe malfunction.
Jessica belted out three songs saying “I have chills” at the end of “Come On Over.” Before singing “Did You Know” the pop-turned-country singer said, It’s a very personal song for a lot of women.” She also admitted she started crying the first time she heard the song “Remember That” and knew that God wanted her to sing it.
In other Jessica Simpson news, the tabloids report she will be following in little sister, Ashlee’s footsteps, and become a Mommy soon. It’s also rumored Simpson is planning to move into Tony’s new home in Dallas and that “Tony’s agreed to let her turn one of the spare rooms into a nursery.”
