Lady Gaga Talks About Working With Beyonce
Although not every detail of the collaboration video has been released, the public knows enough to get them by. We know that Lady Gaga will be featured in a clip for Beyonce’s new song, “Video Phone“.
It has also been said that Gaga and Beyonce will be doing music together. When asked about the collaboration, Gaga mentioned that, “When I was doing her video with her, she called me and she said, ‘What do you want to do?’ And I’m like, ‘I don’t want to show up in some frickin’ hair bow and be fashion Gaga in your video.’ I said, ‘I want to do you.‘”
A photo was uncovered from the video shoot that showed Gaga has her blonde locks billowing and is wearing a strapless white leotard with opera gloves to match. This look seems more toward Beyonces end of the spectrum than Gaga’s. If this were Gaga’s choice of costume, there would be some hip retro sunglasses, maybe some face designs and possibly even a little glitter.
While on set, Lady Gaga even earned herself a nickname because of this change of style. She was referred to as “Gee-yonce“.
It was even mentioned that Beyonce will be working on Lady Gaga’s album with her, but it is unclear what songs or on what album. No other information has been released.
