Marie Osmond’s Son Michael Blosil Commits Suicide
Marie Osmond’s son Michael Blosil, who suffered from severe depression, committed suicide Friday night.
The 18-year-old jumped to his death from his downtown Los Angeles apartment around 9 p.m. last night. He left behind a note explaining that due of his life-long battle with depression he felt as though he had no friends and would never fit in. (click here for more details on the suicide note)
“My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time,” a heartbroken Marie said in a brief statement issued Saturday.
Michael was one of Marie’s eight children, his father is her ex-husband Brian Blosil.
