Ashlee Simpson-Wentz wants people to leave her big sister, Jessica Simpson, alone.

Ashlee, 24, wrote on her blog after photos appeared of Jessica, 28, at the Radio 99.9 Kiss Country’s annual Chili Cookoff on Sunday in Pembroke Pines, Fla.

“I am completely disgusted by the headlines concerning my sister’s weight.” Under the headline, “Since when did a woman’s weight become newsworthy,” Ashlee says: “A week after the inauguration and with such a feeling of hope in the air for our country, I find it completely embarrassing and belittling to all women to read about a woman’s weight or figure.”

She adds: “All women come in different shapes, sizes, and forms and just because you’re a celebrity, there shouldn’t be a different standard.”

Ashlee says she wonders if people would make the same remarks to a wife, daughter, mother, grandmother or friend.

“I seriously doubt it,” she says. “How can we expect teenage girls to love and respect themselves in an environment where we criticize a size 2 figure? Now can we focus on the things that really matter.”

I agree with Ashlee on this one. Even if Jessica has gained a little weight, she still looks great. What do you think?

Before welcoming their son Bronx in November, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz consulted television’s Dog Whisperer, Cesar Milian, for advice on how to handle their two English bulldogs.

The couple recently adopted a five month old female, Ridby, so their three-year-old male, Hemingway, would have a companion. The then-expecting parents wanted to make sure that the new friends would not be aggressive around the baby, so they called in the expert.

Milian showed Pete and Ashlee how to show Hemingway who’s boss, emphasizing the importance of consistency in training and taught them to use their treadmill to help the dog work out aggression.

“Dogs don’t care how rich or famous you are; they only know who’s the leader and who’s the follower,” Cesar says. “My job was to teach Pete and Ashlee how to take the leadership role before their baby came into the picture.”

Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz have decided not to sell any pictures of their new son, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, who was born on November 20th.

In a blog entry titled, “Ring, ring, it’s the truth calling,” Pete announces, “Truth is like every celeb couple, we were offered mounds and mounds of money by mags from here to Guam to pimp out the baby.  We just don’t want to go down that road with him.”

On the other hand, The New York Post reported that the two were not offered enough money for pictures. Either way, Wentz goes on to say that “there will be a time when we’ll share him with everyone because that insatiable curiousity becomes unsafe, or simply because we’re proud parents who want to show him off! At some time, when it makes sense, Bronx will be out in the world.”

Pete also assures everyone that he is cute and looks just like his mommy, Ashlee.

Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz welcomed baby boy, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, into the world Thursday night.

The little one weighed in at 7 lbs 11 oz, and was 20 1/2 inches long.

“Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!” a spokesperson tells People.

Wasn’t Mowgli the kid’s name from The Jungle Book? Either way, congrats to the new parents!

Jessica Simpson visits The Ellen DeGeneres Show tomorrow to talk about her sister, Ashlee Simpson, who is two weeks past her due date.

During the taping of the upcoming episode, Jessica says her little sister is doing “different foot massages and stuff,” adding, “I think she’s really just jumping around trying everything right now.”  Ellen then asks if Ashlee and husband Pete Wentz doctors are thinking of inducing labor, Jess says, “Yeah, they’re going to have to.”

Wanna know the sex of the baby? Good luck. Ellen asks but apparently Jessica doesn’t even know. The parents-to-be haven’t told her yet and the reason? “Yeah, and I’ll stick my foot in my mouth and get in trouble and I won’t be a good aunt, she says.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz baby rumors went on for quite sometime and always proved false, but not this time!

Star magazine has confirmed that the couple are expecting a baby girl and are very excited about it.

“Ashlee and Pete are on cloud nine,” says an insider. “The doctor told them they actually conceived the baby just before Valentine’s Day while they were on vacation and has given them an initial due date of Oct. 31. When Pete heard he might have his baby on Halloween, he went nuts. For an emo-rocker type like Pete, that would be just too perfect.”

Congrats to the parents to be!

Ashlee Simpson may only be three or four months along, but she is already starting to get big! The “singer” wed Pete Wentz last month and tried to keep mum as long as she could about her pregnancy. I guess she can’t hide it any longer!

On a side note: I bet she’s loving the Jessica-esque boobies she’s growing! She didn’t even have to get plastic surgery for that!

It seems Ashlee Simpson just can’t stop having plastic surgery. Rumors started flying after the 23-year-old was spotted shopping with a blotchy, bloated face.

Ashlee looked embarrassed as she tried to hide her bloated face behind a veil of hair.

“Her face looked bizarrely lopsided and swollen,” an onlooker tells an Aussie tabloid. “She was trying to cover up her puffy cheeks with her hair, but it was all too obvious something was wrong.
